This course is for anyone in the workplace or community.
Learn the essentials of first aid.
Gain skills, knowledge and confidence in recognising when, and how, to provide basic life support, manage a foreign body airway obstruction, and provide first aid management for a person in shock.
Basic first aid topics and assessment include: burns, fractures, dislocations, soft tissue injuries, poisoning; medical conditions - heart attack, asthma, stroke, seizure, diabetes.
8 hours face-to-face learning and assessment.
